In a heartwarming gesture, the Maram Battalion of Jwalamukhi Sector under the aegis of Inspector General Assam Rifles (East) orchestrated a memorable Advent Christmas for Compassion Child Ministry orphanage of Kathiko Karong, Senapati district, Manipur on 24 December 2024 at Maram Garrison.

The event was marked by an array of engaging games that filled the air with laughter and joy. A total of 123 children, accompanied by staff of Compassion Child Ministry actively participated in the festivities organized by the Maram Battalion.

The celebration reached its pinnacle with a delightful cake cutting ceremony, symbolizing joy & festive spirit of Christmas. Prizes were also given to children who excelled in various games.

During the address to children Commandant, Maram Battalion expressed gratitude for the opportunity given by children to spread holiday cheer and wished them joys & merry Christmas. He highlighted the importance of fostering a sense of camaraderie and compassion during the festive times of Christmas & New year.

The children and staff appreciated the genuine efforts of Assam Rifles in spreading happiness & joy to them.
